About Me

Josie: Hello my name is Josie. I am a proud mother of five..... that is to three children and two basset hounds named Ginger and Gus! I work full time, but on my weekends I love to shop at flea markets, antique shops, yard sales and swap meets. Basically, anywhere that I can find vintage and antique pieces that I can creatively alter and transform to add to my never ending displays at home. Gus and Ginger

They absolutely adore each other! When I first met Gus, it was definitely love at first sight (for both of us). Gus was a gift from my mom, and may I add that he is definitely one of the best gifts I have ever received! We rescued Ginger from a local shelter, she was frail, skinny, sick and malnourished. We nursed her back to health with meds, food and lots of love! The two of them belong to me and I am proud to say they are truly my best friends! I Love them!

Gizmo

Gizmo is my son Josephs cat. He is just one of those cats that scream the word COOL. We found Gizmo wandering the streets infested with fleas. It turned out that he was only 10 days old. We bottle fed him, wrapped him in a heating pad for days and picked every flea off by hand. Now 2 years later his is definitely the king of the house.

Gibby Roo

Gibby is loved by my oldest daughter Alexis. We rescued Gibby from a local shelter. We rescued her after our family cat Middy past away and my intentions for her was to "love" everyone in the family. It turns out that she had a different plan for herself. She basically only loves Alexis and trust me Alexis wouldn't want it any other way!

Gia

Gia belongs to my youngest daughter Gabi. Gia was also rescued from a local shelter. Gia was thin, unloved, and a definite "scaredy cat". She bonded with Gabi and to this day Gia trusts no one but her. She is very sweet, when we give her "loves" she love bites us and sort of talks at the same time. Too cute!

Gypsy

Gypsy is a family cat but Gus would like to believe that she belongs to him. We found Gypsy hiding in a bush. She was skinny, and had tons of ear mites. She loves hanging out with the dogs, we are convinced that she is part dog. Her nickname is Gypsy Dog. She is so love-able and always hangs out downstairs with anyone that is willing!
